The Aero 55 rim also features a 25mm external width which enables the wheel to provide more stability in comparison to Standard ICAN Wheelset equivalents.
The rim design features a UD Matt finish and a 2-way Clincher Tubeless Ready profile.
The ICAN clincher design is famed for easier tire installation. Tubeless tires offer immunity to punctures and superior rolling resistance. On the side of the rim is a 3K Carbon Braking Track which offers higher brake heat resistance than 55mm equivalents in the Fast and Light Series.
Each wheel comes already fitted with an R01 hub. The rear hub is compatible with 10 and 11 speed Shimano Cassettes. The front hub connects to the rim through 18 aerodynamically sound CX-Ray spokes arranged radially. The rear hub is secured by 24 CX-Ray spokes arranged in a radial drive side and 2-cross non-drive side fashions.
