• AERO wheelsets are the lightest carbon wheels we offer. This 50mm disc version weights just 1468g per pair (±20g). It is ideal not only for aero road bikes but also for riders who want to get faster on flats and hilly terrain.
• The formula is simple: The deeper rims = the more aero = the faster ride.
• These wheels were assembled and trued by our skilled wheel builders. No adjustments are needed. Just take them out of the box, put the tires on, and start riding.
• Speaking of tires, we recommend a tire size of 25 or 28mm to maximize the aero benefits. However, the rims can accommodate up to 40mm tires.
• We used high-quality Toray T700 & T800 carbon fiber and layered it in a way that ensures high stiffness and great longevity.
• The heart of these wheels consists of our in-house designed hubs (Novatec hubs) with sealed bearings that connect Sapim CX-Ray spokes with the rim. This combination provides great stiffness. You will feel the forward movement immediately once you start pushing into your pedals.
• Feel free to choose from one of two brake-type standards (center lock or 6-bolt) and driver body type (XDR 12 speed, Shimano 10/11 speed, and SRAM XD Driver ) before you place your order.

ICAN AERO wheels are available for rim or disc brakes and in multiple rim depths. The disc brake includes rim depths of:

The lighter and high-performance road bike wheelsets

• Our FL disc series was constructed out of Toray T700 carbon fiber. We used T700 as it allowed us to build a stiff and strong wheel rim. A rim that would not flex when you put the power down. A wheelset that could secure tubeless tires safely. A rim that helped to smooth turbulent air.
• We wanted to keep all these great features but save some weight. We looked at our layup to see if it could be improved. After a lot of work, we discovered that the best way to lose weight was to combine Toray T700 carbon fiber with T800 carbon fiber.
• The mixing of the fibers allowed us to build a wheelset with all the great qualities of the FL series but save around 100g per wheelset. Who wouldn’t want to save 100g?

• To go with our new Aero rim, we have a new disc brake hub. We have gone lighter with our sealed bearing hub as well. Our new D01 hub will take you further and longer before you need to service it and being of the sealed bearing variety that is very simple.
• To lace our hub to our carbon fiber rim, we are using aero Sapim CX-Ray spokes. We can find no other spoke that combines the lightweight and stiff qualities of CX-Ray spokes.
