I am planning for a simulator in a new room with vaulted ceiling. Presumably I need HDMI cable from PC to projector. Do I need power in the floor for the simulator? What is max height for projector and required distance from screen?

You would need an HDMI to run to the projector and power for the projector as well. The projector would need to be the same height as the enclosure or no higher than 8’6″ off the ground and 8-9 feet from the screen.
