Getting as a gift; will it work for a lefty? Also there are comments that its not true to green speeds. How close would you say it is?

Being a lefty I can answer confidently that it works fine. The speed is acceptable; the up-hill slant in the last quarter makes one hit the putt a little harder perhaps than you would on average/quick greens. I was more concerned about roll than speed, and the roll is smooth. I have recommended this product, and continue to do so.
