Can I measure the distance that I hit a particular golfball lying in the fairway? Trying to determone how far hit a golfball with various clubs.

I am happy with this rangefinder. To measure the distance you are interested in, you need to sight in something the laser can hit. Not just a patch of the fairway. Walk to the ball and turn around and shoot something around the tee block.
